Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

◆ Authors Guidelines
Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully review the following guidelines before submitting a manuscript to Praefectura: Journal of Transformational Leadership and Educational Management . Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts comply with the journal's requirements regarding originality, language, formatting, ethical standards, references, and manuscript preparation. Manuscripts that do not comply with the requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before proceeding to the editorial and peer-review process.
Important Notes
◆ Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that the manuscript has been carefully checked for language quality, plagiarism, formatting, and references.
◆ Authors are encouraged to use appropriate grammar-checking software, plagiarism detection software, and reference management software when preparing their manuscripts.
Manuscript Scope and Eligibility
Manuscripts submitted to Praefectura: Journal of Transformational Leadership and Educational Management should present original and significant contributions to the fields of transformational leadership, educational management, educational leadership, educational policy, strategic management, organizational change and development, curriculum and instructional management, student performance and academic achievement, digital transformation in education, inclusive education, and related areas of educational management and leadership.

The journal welcomes manuscripts based on quantitative research, qualitative research, mixed-methods research, development research, systematic or conceptual studies, and other scholarly approaches relevant to the journal's focus and scope.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original and have not been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

All submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism using appropriate plagiarism detection software. Authors are required to properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in their work.

Authors should also ensure that the manuscript does not contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, or any other form of academic misconduct.
Manuscript Format and Preparation
Manuscripts must be prepared according to the official Praefectura: Journal of Transformational Leadership and Educational Management  Article Template .

The following general requirements apply:
  • Manuscript length should be approximately 5,000–8,000 words, including the main text, tables, figures, and references.
  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in an editable Microsoft Word format.
  • Authors must use the official Praefectura Template.
  • Manuscripts should follow the formatting, heading, table, figure, citation, and reference styles specified in the journal template.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
Recommended Article Structure
Research articles should generally contain the following components:
  1. Introduction
  2. Method
  3. Results / Findings and Discussion
  4. Conclusion
  5. Declaration of Conflicting Interest (if applicable)
  6. Funding (if applicable)
  7. References
Authors may combine the Results/Findings and Discussion sections when appropriate.
ABSTRACT
The abstract should provide a concise and informative summary of the manuscript. It should clearly present the research background, objectives, methodology, principal findings or results, conclusion, and, where appropriate, the implications of the study.

The abstract should contain approximately 150–250 words.

Keywords: Provide approximately 3–5 keywords that represent the main concepts of the manuscript.
INTRODUCTION
The Introduction should establish the context and significance of the research. Authors should explain the research problem, relevant theoretical or empirical background, and the purpose of the study.

The Introduction should clearly identify the research gap and explain how the study contributes to the development of knowledge, theory, policy, practice, leadership, or educational management.

A detailed literature review should be avoided unless it is necessary to establish the theoretical framework or research gap.
METHOD
The Method section should provide sufficient information to allow readers to understand how the research was conducted. Depending on the research design, this section may include:
  • Research design and approach;
  • Research setting or study context;
  • Population, participants, or sample;
  • Data sources;
  • Research instruments;
  • Data collection procedures;
  • Data analysis techniques; and
  • Ethical considerations, where applicable.
The method should be presented clearly and consistently with the research objectives and questions.
RESULTS / FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The Results or Findings section should present the main findings of the study clearly and systematically.

Tables, figures, charts, or other visual materials may be used when they contribute meaningfully to the presentation of the findings. Each table and figure should be clearly numbered, titled, and referred to in the manuscript.

The Discussion should interpret the findings in relation to relevant theories, previous studies, and the research objectives. Authors should emphasize the significance and contribution of the findings rather than simply repeating the results.
CONCLUSION
The Conclusion should provide a concise response to the research objectives or questions. It should highlight the principal contribution of the study and its implications for educational leadership, management, policy, practice, or future research, as appropriate.

Authors may also briefly acknowledge the limitations of the study and provide recommendations for future research.
Declaration of Conflicting Interest

Authors should disclose any potential conflict of interest related to the research, authorship, or publication of the manuscript.

If no conflict of interest exists, authors may state:
“The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest related to this work.”
Funding

Authors should acknowledge all financial support received for the research or publication of the manuscript, where applicable. If the research received no specific funding, authors may state:
“This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors.”
REFERENCES
References must be prepared according to the APA 7th Edition referencing style.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or another compatible reference management application.

At least 80% of the references should preferably consist of primary and recent scholarly sources published within the last ten years.

Wherever available, authors should provide the DOI of journal articles in the reference list.

Examples of APA 7th edition references should follow the current APA style consistently throughout the manuscript.
