MACCA: Journal of Education, Language, and Culture supports an author-retained copyright model that allows authors to maintain ownership of their scholarly work while enabling broad public access and reuse.

Copyright of published articles remains with the authors. By submitting a manuscript to MACCA, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and authorize the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly record.

Authors retain the right to use, share, and distribute their published work in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.
